Introduction

The following modules provide information on the different types of sources available for scholarly research.  It is important to understand the differences between types of sources and genres of writing so that you may properly use them in your assignments and daily life.  The modules will teach you when it is appropriate to use certain sources within your research, and also highlight the fact that all sources are a part of a topic's larger Information Life Cycle.
